World of Warcraft's New 6-Month Subscription Rewards: Timbered Sky Snake and More!
World of Warcraft is offering exciting new in-game rewards for players who subscribe for six months or more! The highlight is the majestic Timbered Sky Snake mount for modern WoW and its adorable counterpart, the Timbered Air Snakelet pet for Classic WoW. These items, inspired by the 2025 Year of the Wood Snake, are available to subscribers by January 31, 2025, with redemption required before January 31, 2026.
This follows a tradition of yearly themed rewards introduced in 2018. Previous rewards, like the Auspicious Arborwyrm (2024), have been tied to the lunar Zodiac.
The Timbered Sky Snake is a flying mount for the current expansion, War Within, while the Timbered Air Snakelet is a companion pet for Cataclysm Classic. These can be obtained by purchasing a six-month (or longer) subscription, or individually from the in-game shop ($25 for the mount, $10 for the Classic pet). A separate Timbered Sky Snakelet pet for modern WoW is also available for $10 on the Battle.net shop, but isn't part of the subscription deal.

Existing subscribers on recurring subscriptions will automatically receive these rewards.
12-Month Subscription Bonus:
For those committing to a full year, even more rewards await! In addition to the above, 12-month subscribers also receive the Startouched Furline, Gigantic Grrloc, and Charming Courier mounts (retail WoW), and the Lava Drake mount and Swoopy pet (Classic WoW). They'll also receive July's six-month reward, making it a very attractive offer for mount collectors.
With major content updates planned for both retail and Classic WoW in 2025, including potential player housing in retail and the progression servers reaching Mists of Pandaria in Classic, now is an excellent time to secure a longer subscription and claim these fantastic rewards!
