Fatshark has unveiled the next major content update for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide—Nightmares & Visions. Launching on all platforms March 25, 2025, this expansion introduces a mysterious new activity designed by the shadowy Seferon. The centerpiece is Mortis Trials, a wave-based combat mode where players battle through psychic visions manifested by the ship's psyker. Each trial offers dynamic gameplay with procedurally generated buffs and abilities to choose from before starting.

By exploring these haunting visions, players can uncover exclusive lore tied to key Mourning Star characters. Alongside Mortis Trials, Havoc Mode receives fresh challenges with four new mutators to escalate the difficulty. Ogryn mains will also enjoy a revamped talent tree tailored to refine their battlefield dominance. To commemorate the update, a limited-time event will coincide with the release.
