Rules of the Dice Game

First, find a willing opponent. Taverns are usually good places to start, or you might stumble upon a game while traveling. Decide on your bet wisely—remember, there's always a risk of losing, so don't bet more than you're comfortable with.

The goal is to accumulate a target number of points before your opponent. The higher the bet, the higher the target score. Points are awarded for specific dice combinations. Press "E" anytime to view the point values for each combination.
On your turn, roll the dice. You can choose which combinations to score. After selecting your scoring dice, your points are tallied, and your turn ends. If you roll with no scoring combinations (including ones and fives), your turn passes to your opponent.

Strategically set aside scoring dice and re-roll the remaining dice. You can continue this process as long as you roll scoring combinations. New points are added to your running total.
This allows you to potentially earn more points than with a single roll. However, one non-scoring roll wipes out all points earned that turn, and your turn ends.

If no combinations remain after selecting dice, you can re-roll all six dice. With a little luck, you might even chain several re-rolls, accumulating a massive point total.
What's the Best Dice Game Strategy in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2?
While luck plays a role, strategic play significantly improves your odds.

Since a single one or five allows you to re-roll, a relatively safe strategy is to bank one die after each roll. The odds of rolling at least one one or five across six dice are quite high, often more frequent than other combinations.

However, remember that with each roll, the number of dice decreases, reducing your chances of a scoring combination. With only four dice left, the risk significantly increases. It's often wiser to secure your current points than risk losing everything.

Re-rolling three or fewer dice is generally risky and yields low rewards. The chances of three ones are slim, and other combinations rarely justify the risk. Only consider this with special dice (explained below).

To maximize points in a crucial moment, if your roll is unsatisfactory, consider setting aside a single die instead of better combinations and re-rolling the rest. The odds are lower than your initial roll, but it might still yield a better result. Only risk this if losing is already likely.
If luck isn't on your side, assess if you can reach the target score with combinations from fewer dice. If so, continue re-rolling, but only when a loss is otherwise probable.

Special Dice and Badges
Enhance your chances with special dice, found throughout the game world, as quest rewards, or from merchants. These dice offer unique properties to improve your odds of favorable combinations.

Choose your dice at the start of the game for optimal effects. Labels will appear on the board to help you keep track. Reserve certain dice for re-rolls to guarantee ones or fives with fewer dice remaining.

Badges add another layer of strategy. You can wager your badge alongside your money, activating unique effects (some passive, some activated via button press). An icon indicates activatable abilities; they turn gray after activation.

Each badge offers unique strategies. For instance, a score multiplier is best used with a high score, but since you can't predict this, trust your intuition.

Don't let losses discourage you. If needed, use your pickpocketing skills to recover lost funds.
