World of Warcraft Patch 11.1 Introduces Subtle Height-Adjustment Potions
World of Warcraft's upcoming Patch 11.1, "Undermined," introduces a pair of new consumable potions offering temporary character height adjustments. These Noggenfogger Select elixirs (UP and DOWN) provide a subtle, stackable (up to 10 times) height change, lasting 30 minutes and persisting through death. This offers players a convenient, inexpensive (around three gold each) method for character customization, ideal for roleplaying, screenshots, or even dungeons and raids. Unlike more drastic size-altering items, these potions provide only minor height changes, even at maximum stacks. The potions are available from Alchemist Pestlezugg in the Vatworks, the Steemwheedle reputation hub within the new Undermine zone. They are unbound and not level-locked, allowing easy trading between characters.
Additionally, Alchemist Pestlezugg sells Noggenfogger Select FRESH, a Goblin-exclusive potion enabling the use of a unique lean emote, currently unavailable to other races.
While many players welcome this addition, the desire for a permanent height slider remains. Until a major character customization update is implemented, players will continue to utilize options like the Seabed Leviathan’s Citrine in Cyrce’s Circlets, Colossus Warriors, or these new Noggenfogger Select potions for height modification. Patch 11.1 also includes significant story updates for The War Within and visual improvements for various classes.
