As summer truly sets in, the mobile gaming scene continues to heat up. Kuro Games' popular ARPG Wuthering Waves has just launched the second phase of version 2.3, titled Fiery Arpeggio of Summer Reunion. This latest update is packed with fresh content and events to enjoy as temperatures rise.
As the name suggests, the update introduces the newest five-star resonator. Ciaccona is a wandering bard from Rinascita, an aero-attribute resonator who fights using pistols. Her combat style focuses on applying area-of-effect damage against enemies, which she then links to her Solo Concert ability to empower her fellow resonators.
If your ideal character archetype is a bard with a touch of rogue, Ciaccona could be the perfect fit. Keep an eye on the Through Verses and Rhythms Resonator Convene, running from May 22nd to June 11th, to add her to your team.
Play that funkymusicBeyond new resonators, several other events await. Your Summer Will Never Wither, for instance, sends you to investigate rumors of daemons on the streets of Ragunna. Explore the former Poets Society, now known as The Golden Anthem, and uncover its connection to the ominous rumors. This event is also available from May 22nd to June 11th.
With Wuthering Waves' first anniversary celebrations underway, the game is filled with limited-time activities. Look out for the phase two Anniversary Resonator Convene and the Anniversary Weapon Convene, both running from May 22nd to June 11th, to strengthen your team's weapons and roster.
