Wuthering Waves' Dream Patrols offer engaging combat challenges. While most are straightforward, some, like "Knight in a Storm," require understanding unique mechanics to complete all objectives and obtain rewards like Astrites and Monnaie. This guide details how to master this particular patrol.
The "Knight in a Storm" Dream Patrol is located in the Shores of Last Breath, Fagaceae Peninsula (east of Ragunna City). It's marked by a crossed swords icon on your map, visible after activating the area's Resonance Nexus. Teleporting to nearby Tacet Field (Sonata set drop location) provides the quickest access. Note: This area unlocks after completing the "Where Wind Returns to Celestial Realms" quest.
The Knight itself is a standard Rinascita enemy, easily defeated. The challenge lies in fulfilling these objectives:
- Maintain Battle Rank S for over 10 seconds: Achieve this through perfect dodges, parries, and ability usage (including Intro/Outro skills).
- Perform 3 interrupting Counterattacks: Successfully parry the Knight's attacks while its weapon is enhanced.
- Immobilize the enemy with Resonance Liberation DMG: Use your character's ultimate ability to stun the Knight (depleting its white health bar).
Countering the Enhanced Weapon:
The Knight summons three swords, enhancing one. This enhanced weapon is signaled by an aerial lunge attack. Counter by parrying when the parry indicators above the Knight overlap, then immediately attacking. Repeat this three times to complete the objective.
Carlotta players can effectively parry using her jump attack or rifle shots (fired during Resonance Liberation or when Molded Crystal stacks are present).
