Rinascita is brimming with discoveries, including intriguing puzzles like the Morph Paintings. These paintings are integral to two puzzle types: Overflowing Palettes and straightforward restoration tasks.
Morph Painting restoration puzzles are relatively simple yet rewarding, offering valuable resources such as Astrites in Wuthering Waves. This guide outlines their mechanics, locations, and solutions.
Restoring Morph Paintings in Wuthering Waves
Restoring Morph Paintings involves placing the correct paintings on designated pedestals. Carefully read the pedestal descriptions, locate the matching portrait, and use your Levitator utility to place it. The game usually automatically equips the Levitator, but if not, press Tab or D-Pad Left to select it manually.
Currently, two such puzzles exist, integrated into the "Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise" and "Trials of Old" quests.
Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise Morph Painting Puzzle
The "Shadows of the Past" questline in Wuthering Waves leads players through Thorncrown – Thessaleo Falls' three towers. Resounding Rise contains a Morph Painting puzzle. Using the central painting as a reference, solve it as follows:
- Swap the front-left and back-right paintings.
- Move the painting behind the left pedestals to the back-left pedestal.
- Move the painting behind the right chairs to the front-right pedestal.
Completing this puzzle reveals a chest, allowing you to continue the quest.
Trials of Old Morph Painting Puzzle
The "Trials of Old" quest involves four trials near Porto-Veno Castle in eastern Thessaleo Fells. The Trial of Wisdom presents another Morph Painting puzzle. Arrange the paintings on the pedestals to create a narrative from left to right, as shown in the image above.
A helpful tip: A correctly placed painting will illuminate its frame, providing immediate visual confirmation and simplifying the puzzle.
