Thorncrown Rises Tower Locations
The quest is divided into three sub-quests, each focusing on a tower:
- Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise: Located northeast of Thorncrown Rises.
- Shadow of the Towers: Twilight Rise: Located south of Thorncrown Rises.
- Shadow of the Towers: Command Rise: Located southwest of Thorncrown Rises.
Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise
Interact with Itzel, east of the Resounding Rise Tower, to begin. The tower's challenges involve navigating hallways, defeating Abyssal Mercators, solving a painting puzzle, and claiming numerous supply chests. The painting puzzle solution:
- Move the top-left painting to the bottom-right display.
- Move the painting behind the top-left display to the bottom-left display.
- Move the top-right painting to the top-left display.
- Move the painting behind the bottom-right display to the top-right display.
Completing this sub-quest weakens one barrier on the Command Rise Tower.
Shadow of the Towers: Twilight Rise
Speak to Insula southeast of the Twilight Rise Tower to enter. Inside, you'll encounter a time loop. Investigate marked spots, speak with Insula, navigate a secret passage, defeat Abyssal Patricius, and collect supply chests. This weakens the second barrier on the Command Rise Tower.
Shadow of the Towers: Command Rise
This sub-quest activates automatically after completing the first two. Speak with Insula and Itzel northeast of the tower, then use the Wingray to reach the entrance. Inside, expect challenging traversal using the grapple, numerous supply chests, two Sonance Caskets: Ragunna, and a final confrontation with Abyssal Patricius. Successfully navigating the tower and defeating the final boss rewards you with the King of Thessaleo and Shadow of the Tower achievements.
