Konami's Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection: A Blast from the Past on Switch and Steam
Konami has confirmed that the upcoming Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection will bring classic titles to the Nintendo Switch and Steam. This nostalgic package celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game franchise.
Konami Unveils First Wave of Classic Yu-Gi-Oh! Games
The initial lineup for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection includes:
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters II: Dark Duel Stories
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 4: Battle of Great Duelists
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 6: Expert 2
While Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 4: Battle of Great Duelists and Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 6: Expert 2 were previously announced, Konami promises a total of ten classic games will eventually be included. The full roster will be revealed later.
Modern Enhancements for Retro Gaming
These original Game Boy titles will receive significant upgrades. Konami is adding online battle support and save/load functionality. Games that originally featured local co-op will now support online co-op. Further quality-of-life improvements, customizable button layouts, and background options are also planned.
