Speech Services enables speech-to-text capabilities for Google and third-party apps, converting your speech into text. For instance, it supports:

To activate Google Speech-to-Text on your Android device, navigate to Settings > Apps & notifications > Default apps > Assist App. Choose Speech Services by Google as your preferred voice input engine.
