Comprehensive controls are available: analog stick, D-pad, and L+R+Z buttons (configurable in Profiles > Select Profiles > Touchscreen profile > Everything: All Controls). You can also resize (Settings > Touchscreen > Button scale) and customize (Profiles > Touchscreen > Copy > Rename > Edit) control buttons.
