Celebrate the Lunar New Year in Pokémon GO! Niantic has announced a special event running from January 29th, 10:00 a.m. to February 2nd, 8:00 p.m. local time.

This exciting event offers boosted chances for Lucky Pokémon in trades and increased odds of becoming Lucky Friends. Prepare for heightened wild encounters with Ekans, Onix, Snivy, Darumaka, Dunsparce, Gyarados, and Dratini, including shiny versions! 2km Eggs will also feature Makuhita, Nosepass, Meditite, Duskull, and Skorupi.

Participate in Lunar New Year-themed Field Research and Timed Research for Stardust, XP, Zygarde Cells, and Pokémon encounters. For an enhanced experience, a $2 Paid Timed Research offers extra rewards, including two Lucky Eggs and an incubator. Don't forget to claim all rewards before the event concludes!
