Wuthering Waves Version 2.0: A New Region and Console Launch!
Kuro Games' popular open-world RPG, Wuthering Waves, continues to expand. Following the recent release of version 1.4, which included the Somnoire: Illusive Realms mode and two new characters, the developers have announced the upcoming launch of version 2.0 – the biggest update yet!
This major update will introduce Rinascita, a brand-new region, significantly expanding the game's storyline and gameplay. The current Huanglong storyline arc is nearing its conclusion, paving the way for this exciting addition. Version 1.4 and subsequent patches will likely conclude the Huanglong arc.
Adding to the excitement, Wuthering Waves received a Best Mobile Game nomination at The Game Awards 2024. The version 2.0 announcement also confirmed the game's highly anticipated debut on the PlayStation 5, bringing the action-packed JRPG to console players for the first time. The game's intricate combat, rich setting, and compelling narrative have captivated players since its initial release on Solaris-3, a planet divided into six nations (Huanglong, New Federation, and Rinascita are currently known).
