You can dive straight into the action by clicking on the image on the first screen or navigate to it through the Settings - Other applications section. Scanwords in Russian represent a unique cultural phenomenon. Unlike in any other language, these puzzles often include literary questions, humor, and references to current global events, making them much more than just simple crosswords. The Russian people have a deep affinity for words, valuing and cherishing them as something truly precious.
Our application offers a diverse range of scanwords, from simpler to more complex versions, including those with photographs and classic or associative questions like "one word" or "one word, two words," reminiscent of Elder Fur's tips. You'll find an English-Russian scanword and a "holey" scanword in each issue—its name will become clear once you try it. Each page features a character from our lively family, inviting you to join our community.
All scanwords are free for readers. This annual collection includes 52-53 issues, each with 20 scanwords, totaling about 50 MB of storage on your phone—efficiently using space with small images and straightforward text.
You don't need an internet connection to solve the puzzles, as long as the scanwords are already downloaded on your device. A new issue is released every Friday, and if you have notifications enabled, you'll receive a reminder at 12:00 local time. Upon opening the app, new issues download automatically, and once completed, they won't download again. You also have the option to download or delete individual magazines or all magazines at once through the "Settings" menu.
The core features of the application, including access to all scanwords, are free for users. Advertising supports the app, with one narrow banner per page and one interstitial ad before opening a scanword. Our advertisers respect your solving time and do not interrupt it. Additionally, they offer free hints in exchange for watching their videos.
Readers have the option to manage their experience with advertisers by: a) turning off ads permanently, b) subscribing to remove ads and gain unlimited hints for the subscription period, or c) collecting hints in bulk. These options are clearly displayed in the "Shop" section.

1) We use the standard Android advertising identifier solely for advertising placement and to analyze its effectiveness. This identifier may be linked to personally identifiable information or persistent device identifiers such as SSAID, MAC address, or IMEI only with your explicit consent.
