Death Stranding 2 Development Updates
New Feature Allows Players To Clear Bosses Without Combat
In Death Stranding 2: On The Beach (DS2), players have the option to circumvent traditional boss battles. This was unveiled by Hideo Kojima during the April 14 episode of the Koji Pro radio broadcasts. He highlighted a feature designed to assist less experienced players in progressing through the game.
By selecting "continue" on the game over screen after a boss fight, players can skip the combat and move forward. This choice triggers a visual novel-like sequence, displaying images and text that convey the narrative essence of the battle. This innovative approach ensures that everyone can enjoy the story without the need for combat prowess.
Death Stranding 2 Around 95% Complete
Hideo Kojima has announced that Death Stranding 2 is approximately 95% complete. He likened the progress to being at "10 o’clock (PM)" on a 24-hour clock, suggesting that only a couple of hours remain before the game's completion.
DS2 continues directly from where the original game left off. At last month's South by South West (SXSW), Kojima Productions and Sony provided insights into the game, including a 10-minute trailer that showcased the narrative and introduced new characters, sparking excitement among fans.
The trailer revealed a character resembling Solid Snake, along with other intriguing story elements and new features. Additionally, the presentation unveiled details about DS2's collector's edition and pre-order bonuses.
