Devil's Purge, the heavy metal AR shooter, is receiving a major update, adding even more pulse-pounding music tracks and—best of all—going free-to-play! Experience the thrill of blasting through Hell's forces in over 60 levels. Try out the initial levels for free today!
During a trip to Portugal last year, I had the chance to play Devil's Purge, an AR shooter from Ontop where you battle demons and the devil himself to a hardcore heavy metal soundtrack. If you've been hesitant, now's the perfect time to jump in!
Similar to its spiritual predecessor, Doom, Devil's Purge is adopting a shareware model. You can play several initial levels completely free, with the option to purchase the full game later.
Devil's Purge isn't your typical stand-and-shoot game. Active movement is key to dodging enemies and exploiting their weaknesses. This isn't Pokémon Go; the demonic hordes should make that clear enough!
Blast 'em!
This latest update boasts a killer soundtrack expansion, featuring tracks from independent metal artists like Avesso, Visceral, Zero Massive, Tales for the Unspoken, and many more. With over 60 levels and a customizable equipment system allowing you to utilize resources from previous sessions, there's never been a better time to confront the forces of Hell!
The free-to-play update launches today! Find Devil's Purge on the iOS App Store.
