Returning and Upgraded Features in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater
Peep Demo Theater Makes a Comeback

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater (MGS Delta) recently obtained its ESRB rating, indicating developers have stayed true to the original by reviving an explicit extra. The game received an M for Mature rating, with the summary confirming the Peep Demo Theater's inclusion.
The Peep Demo Theater was an additional mode in Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater’s Subsistence and HD Collection editions, displaying all cutscenes featuring the spy EVA in her underwear. Players can manipulate the camera freely and zoom in on any part of her body. To unlock it, every other cutscene in the Demo Theater must be collected, requiring four complete playthroughs.
The Mature rating is expected, given players "assume the role of an elite soldier thwarting special forces behind enemy lines," implying consistent violent and gory content. Still, the comeback of this so-called "Creepy mode" is a surprise, as many fans anticipated its removal due to its sexually explicit and contentious nature.
Streamlined Camouflage System
In other updates, MGS Delta introduces a more responsive camouflage switching mechanic. A March 28 post by METAL GEAR OFFICIAL on Twitter (X) showcased a video demonstrating the refined process. The post stated, "Change camouflage for faces, uniforms, and more on the fly with this new feature in METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER."
Footage reveals that swapping camo now takes under three seconds, a significant improvement over the original game's cumbersome method. In MGS3, altering camouflage involved pausing, navigating menus, opening the Camo section, and selecting an option—a tedious routine that disrupted stealth segments and diminished immersion.
With MGS Delta's launch approaching, fans are excited to experience returning elements alongside gameplay enhancements for a smoother adventure. Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is scheduled for release on August 26, 2025, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
