This week, our App Army took on the challenging puzzles of *A Fragile Mind*, the latest puzzle adventure from developer Glitch Games. Known for its escape room-style gameplay infused with humor, the game garnered a mixed response from our community. While some appreciated the engaging puzzles and light-hearted tone, others felt the presentation could have been better. Here's what our readers had to say:

Initially, I was skeptical about *A Fragile Mind* due to its somewhat dated-looking logo. However, the gameplay turned out to be refreshingly unique, making it a standout puzzle adventure. The puzzles are challenging yet captivating, and I highly recommend playing it on an iPad or tablet for the best experience. It's one of the best puzzle games I've encountered recently.

*A Fragile Mind* is a point-and-click puzzle-solving adventure with static pre-rendered graphics. The narrative, if there is one, remains elusive to me. The game unfolds across different floors of a building, with increasingly complex puzzles to solve. Interestingly, you can progress to the next floor without solving all current puzzles, as some require items from subsequent floors. The game breaks the fourth wall amusingly, such as when inspecting an item and being told its graphic "isn't detailed enough to be important." The hint system is helpful, though perhaps too generous, as you can cycle through hints quickly. The puzzles are intuitive once solved, and despite some navigational confusion, it's a solid example of its genre. I'll definitely continue playing.

In *A Fragile Mind*, you awaken in a garden inside a mysterious building, amnesiac and disoriented. As you explore, you take photos and gather clues to solve puzzles and advance. While the graphics and sound are adequate, the puzzles are challenging, often requiring a walkthrough. It's a short game with little replay value, but if you enjoy puzzle adventures, it's worth a play.

Escape-the-room puzzles are usually a highlight for me on mobile devices, but *A Fragile Mind* falls short. The presentation feels muddled, making it difficult to distinguish puzzle pieces. Additionally, the UI design, such as the misplaced menu button, detracts from the experience. The pacing is off, with too many puzzles available at once, leading to confusion and frequent reliance on the hint system from the start.

Typically, I'm not a fan of puzzle games due to their difficulty and minimal payoff. However, *A Fragile Mind* pleasantly surprised me. The game offers a range of audio and visual options, and I appreciate the aesthetic and atmosphere. The puzzles and clues are engaging, and the hint system is well-implemented, guiding you through challenges effectively. It's a short but rewarding experience, especially at its price point. Highly recommended!

Imagine waking up in your car, disoriented, in front of an abandoned circus. A note directs you to the trunk, where you find a feather and a razor blade. As you approach the circus entrance, a giant elephant confronts you, hinting at the game's clever puzzle design. *A Fragile Mind* layers puzzles like a Jenga tower, with each room filled with multiple clues for various puzzles. The game runs smoothly on Android devices like Google Pixel phones, offering numerous visual and sound options along with good accessibility features. Expert puzzle solvers can finish in about an hour, enjoying the humor and puns along the way.
