Unlocking Astro Bot's Lost Galaxy: A Comprehensive Guide to Finding All 10 Hidden Portals

Astro Bot Rescue Mission offers players a vast array of explorable worlds. Beyond the standard levels, however, lies the Lost Galaxy – a secret area accessible only through ten hidden portals scattered throughout the main game. This guide details the location and method for accessing each portal. Look for a swirling icon on the level select screen to identify worlds containing a hidden portal.

Portal Locations and Access Methods:

1. Az-Tech Trail:

Mid-level, locate a dark room with four lit torches surrounding a wall. Use the Twin-Frog Gloves to extinguish all four flames. The wall will then open, revealing the portal.

2. Creamy Canyon:

Early in the level, find a snowy arena with a ladybug enemy. Proceed past it to a charging pig. Grab the pig, swing it towards the icy statue, and release it to destroy the statue. Backtrack, jump over the ladybug, and perform a charged spin attack to access a hidden room containing the portal.

3. Go-Go Archipelago:

After defeating Captain Pincher, locate his embedded claw. A glowing light indicates a spot for a charged spin attack. Drill into the ground to uncover a hidden room with the portal.

4. Downsize Surprise:

Near the level's end, find a bubble-blowing frog. Blow into the controller to activate the bubbles. Shrink, ride a bubble, and transfer to another to reach a branch above a bot. Navigate to the opposite branch to find the portal.

5. Free Big Brother!:

At the level's start, turn around and locate platforms with an electric enemy. Lure the enemy to electrocute the platforms, opening a wall to reveal the portal.

6. Bathhouse Battle:

Find the house with a flaming chimney. After absorbing water, reach the roof and extinguish the flames. Descend the chimney to find the portal.

7. Hieiroglitch Pyramid:

At the level's end, find an area with falling jewels and a bounce pad. This leads to a hidden area with a trap. Find two hidden switches to open the pathway to the portal.

8. Balloon Breeze:

Obtain the pufferfish power-up. Backtrack to an area near the start with a distant platform and a ladybug enemy. Use the pufferfish and Astro's hover ability to reach the platform. Use motion controls to clear bamboo and activate the portal.

9. Djinny of the Lamp:

After defeating Djinny, climb the glowing ruins, using Astro's hover ability to reach invisible platforms. Ride an unfurled rug to an elevated platform containing the portal.

10. Frozen Meal:

Before the boss fight, roll a snowball into a large ball and use it as a platform to reach the cliffside, where the final portal is located.
