The Dawning event in Destiny 2 has returned, offering players the chance to bake treats for NPCs and acquire new weapons, including the sought-after Mistral Lift Linear Fusion Rifle. This guide details how to obtain the Mistral Lift and its optimal god roll.
Acquiring the Mistral Lift
The Mistral Lift is a limited-time weapon available only during The Dawning event. To obtain it, you'll need to trade with Eva Levante. The exchange requires one "Gift in Return" and 25 Dawning Spirits. While Eva also sells Festive Engrams (one Gift in Return and 10 Dawning Spirits), these offer a random chance at the Mistral Lift.
"Gifts in Return" are earned by baking Dawning treats (like the Neomun-Cake) and gifting them to NPCs. Dawning Spirits are the event's currency, obtained by completing daily Dawning quests and bounties from Eva. Repeat the process until you acquire the Mistral Lift.
The God Roll for Maximum PvE Power
While Linear Fusion Rifles haven't dominated the Destiny 2 meta recently, the Mistral Lift excels in PvE, especially for solo players. Here's the recommended god roll:
