Where to Find Golden Rations
Currently, two primary methods exist for acquiring Golden Rations: exploration and cycle restarts. During gameplay, explore the map for chest icons; these often contain resources for upgrades. A Golden Ration icon above a chest indicates its presence.
Areas containing Prisms (golden diamond icons) frequently have nearby Golden Ration chests.
Alternatively, trigger or wait for a cycle reset. A cycle represents an Overgrowth instance, resetting when your revives deplete. Upon running out of revives, choose to either retry the map (losing resources) or fully reset the cycle at the Cursed Outpost. Successful cycle resets award Golden Rations based on your performance score.
Golden Ration Uses
Golden Rations are vital for progression in Hyper Light Breaker. Primarily, they unlock permanent upgrades at your base, enhancing characters or acquiring new vendor services.
