This guide details how to complete the "Ill Repute" side quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, focusing on obtaining the flea-infested item. This quest stems from "A Good Scrub," obtained by speaking with Betty at the bathhouse in Kuttenberg after inquiring about work at the inn.
Initiating the Quest Line:
Locate Betty's bathhouse (southeast Kuttenberg). Accept her offer of work, which involves retrieving Matsek and three girls from the courtyard. Escort them back to the bathhouse.
Progressing Through "A Good Scrub":
After escorting the girls, assist Betty in promoting the bathhouse by shouting its virtues in designated areas (grain market, horse market, vintners’ street, merchants’ street) during the daytime. Subsequently, clean the bathhouse before the alderman's inspection to avoid closure.
Obtaining the Flea-Infested Item for "Ill Repute":
Following a successful inspection, speak to Betty about remaining issues. She reveals the council's deliberation on the city's main bathhouse, requiring you to drive the councillor away from a rival establishment.
Gather information from Meaty Mary, Katcha, and Little Lida to determine the councillor's preferences. You'll need chamomile brew (for the wine cask on the second floor of the rival bathhouse) and potentially a noblewoman's dress (to gain further information from Lida). Alternatively, steal fragrant oils from a cabinet on the third floor.
To find the flea-infested item, head to Kuttenberg's east gate. Search the beggar's camp for a flea-infested blanket.
Completing "Ill Repute":
Return to the rival bathhouse and discreetly place the fleas into Councillor Naaz's laundry basket (and possibly a clean laundry basket). Note that completing one of the three tasks (chamomile brew, oils, or fleas) is sufficient to complete the quest.
