RuneScape has launched its highly anticipated Group Ironman mode, offering members a challenging team-based experience. This new mode allows for cooperative gameplay with friends, tackling iconic quests, intense boss battles, and unique achievements as a team.
What is Group Ironman Mode?
This mode allows groups of two to five players to experience the classic Ironman restrictions, but with the added benefit of teamwork. The familiar conveniences are removed – no Grand Exchange, no handouts, and no XP boosts. Success hinges on collaboration, from resource gathering and crafting to skill development and combat.
Group Ironman players can enjoy select minigames, Distractions and Diversions, and access exclusive group content. A dedicated base, the Iron Enclave, is available exclusively for Group Ironman players.
Competitive Group Ironman: A More Isolating Challenge
For those seeking an even greater challenge, RuneScape also introduces Competitive Group Ironman. This mode emphasizes self-reliance and eliminates external player assistance. Several group-oriented activities are restricted, including:
