Parallel Experiment: A Co-op Crime Thriller Puzzler Coming to Steam and Mobile
Eleven Puzzles' highly anticipated co-op crime thriller puzzler, Parallel Experiment, is set to launch on Steam this March. A mobile demo is also planned for iOS and Android later in 2025, with a full mobile release to follow.
This cooperative puzzle game, reminiscent of titles like Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes, casts players as detectives Ally and Old Dog. Solving the mystery of a ruthless killer requires collaboration, even when players are in separate locations. Communication and shared problem-solving are key to unraveling the puzzles.
Featuring over 80 unique puzzles, an in-game notebook for clue tracking, cooperative dialogue, and a stylish noir comic book aesthetic, Parallel Experiment offers a unique gameplay experience. The developers have even included playful features like knocking on windows or poking your partner for added fun (or frustration!).
What's in the box?!
Cross-platform play is a key feature, allowing for seamless collaboration between desktop and mobile players. While desktop players can utilize platforms like Discord, mobile players will find creative ways to communicate and even distract their partners, adding another layer of interaction to the gameplay.
Though the co-op puzzle genre is established, Parallel Experiment benefits from extensive testing to ensure a polished and enjoyable mobile experience.
