Electronic Arts recently hosted a livestream event to commemorate the 25th anniversary of The Sims franchise. The broadcast showcased a range of celebratory gifts and in-game events planned for The Sims 4 players.
The festivities have already commenced with a new update. This update addresses several bugs, boasts a revamped main menu, and includes performance enhancements. Several classic houses in Willow Creek and Oasis Springs have also received a makeover. These updated versions are automatically available for new games, while existing saves can access them via the in-game library.

The main anniversary celebration begins February 4th. A significant update will introduce over 70 free items! Simultaneously, a new in-game event, "Blast from the Past," will launch, offering players retro-themed rewards through a series of challenges.
A new season, "Motherlode," is also slated to debut on February 6th in The Sims 4. Further details regarding this season's content remain undisclosed.
