If the app isn't working correctly, please try the following:
Android Settings > Application Manager > Weather Station > Clear data
This clears all configuration and should restore the app to a working state. You may also need to remove and re‑add the widget from your home screen.
To try the Beta version, press the "Become a tester" button at https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.arf.weatherstation.
Afterward, an update will become available via Google Play.
