The nominees for the prestigious 2025 Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards have been announced, showcasing the year's most outstanding comic book achievements. Often called the Oscars of comics, these awards honor exceptional work across the industry.
Fantagraphics and DC Comics emerged as frontrunners in this year's nominations, with Fantagraphics securing 24 nominations (plus one shared) and DC earning 10 nominations (plus nine shared). Wonder Woman scribe Tom King leads individual creators with four nominations, while several others received three nods each.
Former IGN Comics editor Joey Esposito joins this esteemed company with his nominated work The Pedestrian (co-created with Sean Von Gorman), competing against heavyweights like Absolute Batman and The Power Fantasy for Best New Series.
