Party Members Join Times in Metaphor: ReFantazio Revealed

In Metaphor: ReFantazio, aside from the protagonist, you'll be joined by seven unique party members throughout your journey, each capable of engaging in combat. Gallica will be present from the start, though her combat participation will be limited compared to others. Each new ally joins on specific days tied to story events, and knowing when they arrive can enhance your gameplay experience. Be warned, this guide contains slight spoilers regarding who joins your party and when.

Each Party Member & Their Joining Day in Metaphor: ReFantazio

Every party member in Metaphor: ReFantazio will awaken to their unique Archetype, which can then be utilized by any other party member. Initially, some joiners won't be fully controllable, but this changes as they awaken to their Archetypes before engaging in combat for the first time.

Storhl - Warrior

Storhl is your first companion, joining on 6/5 during the events at the Border Fort. However, he won't awaken to his Archetype until the next day, 6/6, at the Nord Mines. Before his awakening, Storhl will operate as an AI-controlled party member.

Grius

Following the events at the Border Fort, Grius joins on 6/6. He won't engage in battles until after Storhl's awakening. Once Storhl awakens, you can summon an Archetype for Grius, making him a regular party member, though without a unique awakening of his own.

Hulkenberg - Knight

Hulkenberg begins interacting with your party on 6/10. She won't awaken to her Archetype and join fully until the boss fight on 6/11.

Heismay - Thief

Heismay becomes a focal point during your time in Martira, with his section being mostly on-rails. On 7/4, you'll witness his awakening in the main dungeon of the town, after which he officially joins the party.

Junah - Masked Dancer

You'll encounter Junah multiple times throughout the game, but she won't join your party until her awakening on 8/13.

Eupha - Summoner

Eupha offers more flexibility in joining your party. During your free time on Viraga Island, between 8/19 and 9/4, you can complete the Dragon Temple Dungeon. Eupha will join your party for the final boss on whatever day you complete the dungeon, though her Bond can only be initiated after the deadline passes.

Basilio - Berserker

Basilio awakens and joins during the events of Saint's Day on 9/11. However, you won't be able to use him in combat until the day after if you choose to do so.
