Path of Exile 2: A Comprehensive Guide to Delirium Endgame Events
Path of Exile 2's Atlas features four major endgame encounters: Rituals, Breaches, Expeditions, and Delirium. This guide focuses on Delirium, a returning mechanic from previous PoE leagues, detailing how to initiate events, navigate the fog mechanic, access the Simulacrum Pinnacle map, utilize the Delirium Passive Skill Tree, and maximize rewards.
Understanding the Delirium Fog Mechanic
On the Atlas, Delirium map nodes are marked with a distinctive white and black mirror icon. To guarantee a Delirium event, place a Delirium Precursor Tablet in a Lost Tower.
Within a Delirium map, locate the multicolored Delirium Mirror near your spawn. Activating it unleashes a swirling fog that expands across the map. Enemies within the fog are significantly stronger but offer superior rewards. Leaving the fog ends the encounter.
Enemies inside the fog drop valuable items, including Distilled Emotions (used for crafting) and Simulacrum Splinters (for summoning the Pinnacle Boss). Fractured Mirrors, if encountered, provide additional mob waves and loot. Be wary of Kosis and Omniphobia, powerful bosses that can randomly appear during the encounter.
The Simulacrum Pinnacle Event
Accumulate 300 Simulacrum Splinters (dropped at higher Waystone tiers) to create a Simulacrum. Place this in the Realmgate to access a challenging 15-wave encounter. The difficulty increases with each wave, and Delirium bosses have an increased chance of spawning as you progress. Completing the Simulacrum rewards two Delirium Passive Skill points.
The Delirium Passive Skill Tree
Located on the Atlas Passive Skill Tree (top-right), the Delirium Passive Skill Tree features eight Notable nodes and eight nodes that increase Simulacrum difficulty. Each Simulacrum completion grants two passive points. Increasing Simulacrum difficulty is necessary to reach new Notable nodes.
Notable Delirium Passive Nodes: A strategic approach is recommended. Prioritize nodes that offer significant reward boosts without harsh penalties. 'You Can't Just Wake Up From This One', 'Get Out Of My Head!', and 'They're Coming To Get You' are excellent starting points.
