SketchPad is the perfect companion for anyone who loves to sketch, doodle, or simply scribble while on the move. With this app, you can let your imagination soar and unleash your creativity in a variety of ways—whether you choose to draw, illustrate, sketch, doodle, or scribble, the choice is entirely yours.
One of the standout features of SketchPad is its lightweight design, with a download size of just 5 MB, making it incredibly easy to install and use. The app is designed to transform your screen into a hassle-free canvas. Unlike other drawing apps cluttered with features, SketchPad keeps it simple, offering just a canvas and you, ensuring a straightforward and enjoyable experience.
Getting started with SketchPad is a breeze; you can begin your sketching journey almost immediately after installation, with no setup required. It's truly that simple.
Features:
• A user-friendly and simple interface
• No advertisements or in-app purchases, keeping your experience uninterrupted
• Customizable brush width with instant preview, allowing for both bold strokes and fine details
• Multiple color selection options including a palette, spectrum, and RGB sliders
• Unlimited undo/redo functions, because everyone makes mistakes (limited only by your device's capabilities)
• An optional "Shake to Clear" feature that lets you clear the canvas with a shake of your device (requires an accelerometer)
• The ability to export your creations as PNG or JPEG images
• Direct sharing capabilities from SketchPad, which automatically exports the image to your device
The "Shake to Clear" feature is particularly handy for casual scribbling, though it's best avoided during serious sketching sessions on the go, like on a bus. However, it's perfect for those moments when you're looking to pass the time with some light scribbling.
SketchPad is fully functional offline, although sharing your sketches with others requires a network connection. The app requests storage permission solely to save your sketches to your device, and rest assured, your files are safe with us.
By default, exported images are saved to the "/Pictures/SketchPad/" directory, but you can change this path in the settings to a directory that suits your needs. For compatibility with most gallery apps, you might want to save your sketches to "/DCIM/Camera/". Note that on Android 10 and later, due to changes in storage handling, all images are saved to "/Android/data/com.kanishka_developer.SketchPad/files/Pictures", regardless of your settings.
The SketchPad Project is dedicated to enhancing user experience, and we welcome your feedback. Feel free to join the conversation or just say "hi" in the Kaffeine Community Discord server at https://discord.gg/dBDfUQk or reach out via email at [email protected].
