CD Projekt RED has released a highly anticipated update for Cyberpunk 2077, bringing not only bug fixes but also cutting-edge NVIDIA technology. GeForce RTX 50 series graphics card owners will benefit most from the addition of DLSS 4 support, experiencing a significant performance boost with extra frames generated.
This DLSS 4 enhancement, available from January 30th, also improves frame generation speed on RTX 40 and 50 cards while optimizing memory usage.
Furthermore, all GeForce RTX graphics cards now offer a choice between the convolutional neural network and the new transform model for DLSS Ray Reconstruction, DLSS Super Resolution, and DLAA. The transform model delivers superior lighting, detail, and image stability.
This update also addresses several issues: in-game screen interference and crashes associated with DLSS ray reconstruction have been resolved, and the "Frame Creation" parameter now updates correctly after disabling resolution scaling.
Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.21 Patch Notes (Highlights):
- Resolved an issue preventing interaction with certain vendors.
- Fixed a bug causing missing or low volume TV news audio.
